This year i decided to volunteer my time again for the Metro Masquerade event. Last year i shot the poster for them, and I had such a blast I was thrilled to be giving the chance to do it again.
We shot quickly, tried a lot of things, and got some amazing images.
This year’s event is going to be bigger, better, and raise even more money for Breast Cancer research!
The poster will be online soon, but here are a few edited shots from November’s shoot

Yes. Peggy’s Cove – In the fall, I know exactly what you are thinking, this could be iffy right?

Not for them! Wow. What a perfect day these two picked.

Today I had the honor of photographing a friend and her new fiance (Congrats Guys!) at Peggy’s Cove outside Halifax. The weather can be worrisome there – sometimes it’s warmer, but most of the time it is much MUCH colder.
Today was PERFECT, the sun was out, but behind some thick clouds, and Angela & Doug didn’t let the wind (or the cold) phase them one bit.

Once we were done in the touristy spots, we hit up the town below the lighthouse and snagged a few different shots.
Enjoy the teaser post!

Day Two… That’s the day where the speeds come up and you really get a feel for your car. After the rain on Day 1 I was ready for just about anything. The day started off cloudy but by noon it was amazing and sunny.
Doing the driving school doesn’t leave much time to photograph, but I felt like sharing a few highlights from Green Group. It was there first time on the track Educational Surface, and i think (hope) they are hooked!
Will and his BEAUTIFUL M3

And an AMAZING Roush Performance Mustang. This thing looked mean, sounded mean and just screamed down the front straight

I’m taking a break from people-picture posts for a second to post up another love of mine, cars and racing. The BMW Club of NS runs two advanced driver training schools each year, normally I go out and show support and shoot them, this time I’m in the school for my second time, it’s awesome and something everyone should try!
Day 1 of the summer session was met with a beautiful sunrise and some great weather for arrival. The clouds rolled in and by the end of the morning sessions it was raining. Rain won’t hold the driving school up though, our cars work in the rain right? Ha ha.
Tomorrow the weather outlook is a bit better, time will tell.

If you are in need of an easy and amazing solution for your wedding invitations, look no further then Val at East Coast Wedding Invitations.
For our wedding, we hired Val to design our invitations, thank you cards and programs. Once we worked out the cost of doing it all ourselves, not to mention the time it would take, hiring Val made a TON of sense.
She hand designed everything and printed it on our choice of custom paper – the results were amazing and so personalized it would have taken us forever to do.
